The free movie night will kick off on Friday, June 28, 2019, with “The Goonies,” a 1985 adventure comedy film. The outdoor screenings will be held at 8th and Elm, near The Midland Theater, and will begin just after sunset—typically between 8:30-9 p.m.
What’s Playing:
Friday, June 28: The Goonies Friday, July 12: Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark
Friday, August 23: Grease
Friday, September 13: Hook
Friday, October 11: Hocus Pocus
As part of Coffeyville’s Reawakening, The Midland Theater Foundation hopes to fill downtown Coffeyville with movie-goers during their summer movie series in an effort to revitalize our historic downtown and bring the fun of “Movies at the Midland” back to our town. The community is encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, coolers, and snacks to picnic in the street beneath the big screen.
Admission is free. Parking is free. Popcorn is free. Soda and candy will be sold with all proceeds benefiting The Midland Theater Foundation. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted. In the event of stormy weather, the movie will be rescheduled.
